An Irish Tavern

Ryan’s tavern first floor bar on St. Patrick's Day

An Irish tavern, or pub, is not just a restaurant or bar. The pub - short for "public house" - is at the heart of Irish social life. It's a community gathering place for friends and strangers. It's a place where visitors to town and locals alike go to dine, relax, laugh, listen to a tall tale or two (or tell one themselves), and debate everything – especially politics, relationships, and religion. And the welcome mat for musicians is always out.

The Irish spirit is born of a deep reverence for God, family, and country. The Irish welcome extends to people of all colors and creeds. In fact, it is exactly the craic (pronounced crack - an Irish term for "positive interaction through lively conversation and music") that makes a pub authentic Irish.

Welcome to Ryan's Tavern, an authentic Irish Pub.
